Dr. Lidija Antunovic is a nuclear medicine physician at the Nuclear Medicine Department of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, under the direction of Professor Arturo Chiti.

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Padua in 2004 and specialized in Nuclear Medicine at the same university in 2010. In 2019, she completed an advanced course in Clinical Epidemiology at Hunimed.

Dr. Antunovic's clinical work focuses on nuclear medicine imaging diagnostics, with a particular interest in inflammatory diseases and infections, PET/CT, and PET/MRI. She is experienced in the use of various PET radiopharmaceuticals in both oncological and non-oncological fields, including 18F-FDG, 11C-Choline, 11C-Methionine, 68Ga-DOTATOC, 18F-FET, 18F-DOPA, 18F-Fluoride, 124I-Na, 18F-PSMA, and 68Ga-PSMA.

She also conducts outpatient services for benign and malignant thyroid diseases, prostate cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, and provides radiometabolic therapy for hyperthyroidism, as well as inpatient radiometabolic therapy for thyroid conditions, prostate cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, and bone metastases from prostate and breast cancer.

Her research activities focus on lung and breast cancer. Dr. Antunovic is also involved in advanced image analysis with the application of artificial intelligence algorithms, research projects on bone infections, and participates in the EANM's Bone & Joint Committee.
