Rodolfo Caminiti

Dr. Rodolfo Caminiti is an interventional cardiologist at the Hospital Cardiology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2017 from the University of Messina and, in 2023, obtained his specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases with top honors. His primary focus is on percutaneous interventions for the treatment of coronary artery disease, structural heart diseases (aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valve conditions), and congenital defects such as patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defect (ASD).
Dr. Caminiti has a particular interest in research and has authored over 60 articles published in international medical journals, with a specific focus on innovative coronary interventional techniques, including intracoronary lithotripsy, laser atherectomy, and the routine use of drug-coated balloons.
For two consecutive years (2021 and 2022), he was awarded the Best Abstract Award by the Italian Society of Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and the Italian Society of Cardiology (FISC).
