Loris Cazzato

Dr. Loris Cazzato is an obstetrician and gynecologist at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit of the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan and at the Policlinico San Pietro.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery with honors and distinction from the University of Pavia in 2017. He then specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology with top marks at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in 2023.

During his training, Dr. Cazzato gained valuable experience in gynecological and obstetric care at various hospitals in Italy and Germany.

Currently, he works both as an on-call obstetrician in the delivery room and emergency department, and in an outpatient setting. His responsibilities include managing both physiological and pathological pregnancies (gestational diabetes, gestational hypertension, etc.), performing gynecological and obstetric ultrasounds of levels I and II, menopause, gynecological endocrinology, and contraception.

Dr. Cazzato has developed significant expertise in prenatal diagnosis, with a particular focus on high-risk pregnancies and the management of structural or genetic fetal anomalies. He performs second-level morphological ultrasounds, fetal echocardiograms, chorionic villus sampling, amniocentesis, and first-trimester screening for chromosomal abnormalities (nuchal translucency and bi-test).

He regularly participates in industry conferences.
