Marta Parma
Biographie
Dr. Marta Parma is a Gynecologist at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, directed by Professor Massimo Candiani.
She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery in 2009 from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, where she specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics with full marks in 2015.
In addition to her obstetric-gynecological activities in the ward and delivery room, Dr. Parma has specialized in Urogynecology, where she performs outpatient activities, surgical procedures, and scientific research.
Her main clinical interests include reconstructive pelvic floor surgery and female urinary incontinence, outpatient activities dedicated to the diagnosis of genitourinary prolapse and pelvic dysfunctions, recurrent urinary infections, and the genitourinary syndrome of menopause, with a particular focus on treatment using new CO2 laser technologies. Since 2022, she has been responsible for the outpatient clinic for female genital anomalies at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital.
She is a member of EUGA (European Urogynaecological Association), SIUD (Italian Society of Urodynamics), a member of the board of GLUP (Working Group on Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor), SEGi (Italian Society of Gynecological Endoscopy), and a member of the SEGi YOUNG board.
She is the author and co-author of publications in scientific journals and book chapters. She regularly participates in national and international congresses in her field.
