Luca Arzuffi

Dr. Luca Arzuffi is a cardiologist at the Department of Interventional Cardiology of IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2016 from the University of Milan-Bicocca. During the final year of his degree, he completed a research training period at Yale University School of Medicine.
He obtained his specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases in 2022 from the University of Pavia with a thesis titled "Performance of Mitral transcatheter edge-to-edge repair: MitraClip vs Pascal." He completed his final year of specialist training at the hemodynamics department of IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
Dr. Arzuffi focuses on interventional cardiology, both coronary and structural, with particular interest in percutaneous therapy for mitral and aortic valves, closure of the patent foramen ovale, and left atrial appendage.
He also handles invasive diagnostics in patients with anomalous origin of coronary arteries (AAOCA).
Additionally, he is involved in outpatient clinical activities and ward-based clinical work.
He is the author and co-author of several scientific articles and co-authored a chapter in an Interventional Cardiology manual.
