Alessandra Pancaldi
Biography
Dr. Alessandra Pancaldi is a Cardiologist at the Clinical Cardiology Unit of IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, directed by Professor Alberto Margonato.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1987 from the University of Milan and specialized in Cardiology at the University of Padua in 1991.
Dr. Pancaldi has had brief experience in invasive diagnostics (right and left catheterizations) and temporary pacing and focuses on imaging diagnostics (myocardial tomoscintigraphy, echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography) as well as 24-hour Holter ECG and exercise testing.
She conducts outpatient clinical and diagnostic activities in cardiovascular prevention and follows patients with hypertension and ischemic, valvular, and arrhythmic conditions. She collaborates with the oncology department and monitors oncological patients during chemotherapy treatments for cardiotoxicity risk. She also works with anesthetists in assessing operative risk.
She is a co-author of multiple publications and consistently participates in national and international conferences in her field.
