Biography

Dr. Ludovica Bartiromo is a Gynecologist at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit of the IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, led by Professor Massimo Candiani.

She graduated with honors and academic distinction in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Naples Federico II in 2015. She later specialized with honors in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan in 2021.

Dr. Bartiromo focuses on minimally invasive surgery and reproductive pathophysiology, with particular attention to endometriosis and benign gynecological conditions such as uterine fibroids, tubal, and ovarian pathologies.

She has gained experience in clinical and surgical activities, as well as research, particularly in the areas of endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and fertility preservation. Additionally, she has specialized in first- and second-level gynecological ultrasound diagnostics and is a certified member of the IOTA International Group (Leuven) for gynecological ultrasounds. She also earned the GESEA certification for Mini-Invasive surgery at the University Hospital of Clermont-Ferrand, France.

Dr. Bartiromo is the author and co-author of scientific studies published in international journals and has contributed to the development of research protocols and national guidelines on endometriosis. She actively participates in industry conferences.
