Biografía
Dr. Cinzia Annamaria Nitti is a cardiologist at the Clinical Cardiology Unit of the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Professor Alberto Margonato.
She earned her degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1983, specializing first in Diabetology and Metabolic Diseases in 1987, and then in Cardiology in 1992.
Dr. Nitti primarily practices in Clinical Cardiology. Throughout her clinical training, she has gained significant experience in all non-invasive diagnostics, including cardiovascular radiology and nuclear medicine, exercise testing, and ambulatory ECG monitoring. For many years, she has focused on echocardiographic diagnostics, acquiring considerable expertise in color Doppler. She specializes in cardiological consultations for hospitalized patients, preoperative surgical evaluations, and intra- and postoperative emergencies for urological surgical patients, as well as external cardiology specialist activities. Since 2018, she has been the Area Coordinator for Cardiology at Ospedale San Raffaele Turro, continuing her work at the main site on Via Olgettina with proven experience in performing physical and pharmacological echostress tests.
In terms of research, Dr. Nitti is interested in studying and exploring diagnostic techniques such as:
- Color Doppler Echocardiography in valvular defects
- Color Doppler Echocardiography in valve prostheses
- Electrocardiography and ischemic heart disease
She is the author and co-author of numerous publications and actively participates in national and international conferences in her field.
