Eleonora Melotti
Biographie
Dr. Eleonora Melotti is a cardiologist in the University Cardiology Unit at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio in Milan, where she is involved in clinical activities in the ward and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (UTIC), with a particular interest in advanced non-invasive cardiovascular imaging.
She earned her Master's degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2016 and specialized in Cardiovascular Diseases at the Centro Cardiologico Monzino in Milan. Both her degree and specialization were completed with top honors.
During her time at the Centro Cardiologico Monzino, Dr. Melotti had the opportunity to deepen her expertise in advanced cardiovascular imaging, focusing on transthoracic echocardiography (at rest and under stress) and transesophageal echocardiography (including intraoperative), as well as coronary CT and cardiac MRI.
Her main clinical and scientific interests include valvular diseases, cardiomyopathies, heart failure, and sports cardiology.
Dr. Melotti is the co-author of numerous scientific publications and a member of the SIC study groups on sports cardiology and nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT. She regularly participates in national and international conferences in the field.
