Gabriele Gallina
Biographie
Dr. Gabriele Domenico Gallina is an internist, immunologist, and rheumatologist at the Unit of Immunology, Rheumatology, Allergology, and Rare Diseases at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.
He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Catania in 2018 and specialized in Internal Medicine at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan in 2024.
Dr. Gallina developed an interest in immuno-rheumatology during his medical training, first as a student and later throughout his specialization years. Through his Internal Medicine specialization, he expanded his expertise to various fields, including infectious diseases, hepatology, and major cardiopulmonary disorders.
His clinical practice primarily focuses on patients with systemic autoimmune diseases and rare conditions, such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, vasculitis, Sjögren’s disease, sarcoidosis, Behçet’s syndrome, and Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome. He also has experience managing autoimmune arthritis and fibromyalgia.
Additionally, he performs diagnostic procedures such as minor salivary gland biopsy and skin biopsy.
His clinical research primarily focuses on systemic autoimmune diseases, particularly Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and ANCA-associated vasculitis.
Dr. Gallina has contributed to publications in indexed journals and regularly attends national and international conferences in his field.
