Biografie
Dr. Giorgio Bassanelli is a cardiologist at the Clinical Cardiology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.
In 2004, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery, and in 2008, he specialized in Cardiology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, achieving top marks.
In 2012, he obtained a second-level Master's degree in Hemodynamics and Cardiovascular Interventions from the University of Insubria, Varese.
Currently, Dr. Bassanelli works in the Clinical Cardiology department and outpatient clinics. He has extensive clinical experience in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, where he has developed significant expertise in managing acute cardiovascular conditions and coordinating with other specialized clinical units.
His clinical cardiology practice focuses on acute heart diseases, heart failure and cardiomyopathies, valvular diseases, ischemic heart disease, and pulmonary embolism.
He has participated in numerous multicenter clinical trials, including international studies, and has contributed to many scientific publications in the cardiovascular field. He is actively involved in the training of cardiology residents and medical students at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, where he serves as a tutor. Additionally, he has taught in the second-level Master's program in Cardiac Intensive Care at the University of Milan.
