Giovanni Lasagni
Biografie
Dr. Giovanni Lasagni is an allergist and immunologist at the Unit of Immunology, Rheumatology, Allergology, and Rare Diseases at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele. He is also a faculty member at the School of Specialization in Allergology and Clinical Immunology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.
In 2018, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and in 2025, he completed his specialization in Allergology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Milan.
In 2024, he attended the Regional Specialization Center for the Study and Treatment of Allergies and Food Intolerances in Adults and Children at the University of Padua, a leading reference center in Italy for allergies and food intolerances.
From a clinical perspective, Dr. Lasagni specializes in the diagnosis and management of the following conditions:
- Food allergies and intolerances, with the possibility of conducting oral food challenge tests;
- Bronchial asthma, with a particular focus on severe asthma and Th2 inflammation;
- Allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis with or without nasal polyps (CRwNP);
- Allergen-specific immunotherapy for major respiratory allergens;
- Drug allergies, including NSAIDs, antibiotics, general and local anesthetics, contrast agents, and chemotherapeutic drugs;
- Anaphylaxis;
- Hymenoptera venom allergy;
- Urticaria and angioedema;
- Eczema, atopic dermatitis, and contact dermatitis;
- Follow-up and management of biological therapy for asthma, chronic rhinosinusitis, urticaria, and atopic dermatitis.
Dr. Lasagni is also actively engaged in clinical research in these fields and has authored publications in international scientific journals. He regularly participates in national and international conferences in his field.
