Stefano Ferrari

Dr. Stefano Ferrari is an obstetrician and gynecologist at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1991 and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the same university in 1996.

During his postgraduate specialization, Dr. Ferrari focused particularly on gynecological surgery, especially emerging minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques. He honed his skills during various internships abroad. His interest in these methodologies led him to not only perform surgical treatments for major benign and malignant gynecological conditions but also to specialize in endometriosis and the management of the main causes of female infertility. Additionally, he is involved in monitoring and overseeing pregnancy progression.

Currently, Dr. Ferrari is the head of the Center for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Endometriosis and coordinates the medical and surgical area of Reproductive Medicine at Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan.

He conducts research on couple fertility issues, endometriosis, and infertility. Dr. Ferrari is also an author and co-author of scientific publications in national and international journals.
