Dr. Giovanni Marchese is a cardiologist in the Cardiology Unit at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome in 1990. In 2002, he specialized in Respiratory Diseases at the University of Milan, where he also obtained a specialization in Cardiology in 2007. Following his degree, he attended numerous masters and advanced training courses.
In 2010, he completed a second-level master's degree in Clinical Echocardiography at the University of Milan and later underwent practical training at the Echocardiography Laboratory of Istituto Clinico Sant'Ambrogio. In 2016, he participated in a second-level master's program in "Transesophageal Echocardiography" at the University of Milan - Bicocca, conducting practical training at the Echocardiography Laboratory of ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano - Ospedale Maggiore Niguarda in Milan.
Between 2015 and 2016, Dr. Marchese completed a University Postgraduate Course in "Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute and Chronic Heart Failure" at the University of Milan - Bicocca, with hands-on training at the Cardio-Thoraco-Vascular Department - Division of Cardiology 2 - Heart Failure and Transplants of ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano - Ospedale Maggiore Niguarda in Milan, and the Clinical Cardiology Division - Center dedicated to Cardiomyopathy and Heart Failure at the San Gerardo Hospital in Monza.
In 2017, he attended the University Postgraduate Course in "Intensive Cardiology" at the University of Milan - Bicocca, completing an internship in the Cardio-Thoraco-Vascular Department at the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of Ospedale Maggiore Niguarda in Milan.
Dr. Marchese conducts specialized cardiology and respiratory physiology consultations. His areas of focus include:
