Sarah De Bastiani (Сара Де Бастиани)

Dr. Sarah De Bastiani is an obstetrician and gynecologist at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan.

She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2006 and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan in 2021. In 2014, she earned a Master’s degree in Emergency Medicine with full marks from the University of Rome, and subsequently completed a three-year acupuncture course at the Centro Studi e Centro Medico So-Wen in Milan. She also obtained a certification from the International Ovarian Tumor Analysis (IOTA).

Throughout her career, Dr. De Bastiani has participated in various humanitarian projects, initially as an intern and later as a specialized physician, at the Mother and Child Hospital in Calcutta and at a refugee camp in Burkina Faso. She has also collaborated with Médecins Sans Frontières on a project in Sicily and has provided healthcare assistance at mobile clinics for refugees and migrants in Italy.

She is a consultant physician for the Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer (LILT) and collaborates with the San Donato Group facilities, particularly IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan, as a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics.

Dr. De Bastiani annually attends numerous theoretical-practical courses and national and international conferences related to gynecology and obstetrics.
