Dr. Maria Pia Guarneri is the Head of a Simple Functional Unit within the Pediatrics Department at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital. She is also a contract professor at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan.
In 1984, she graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Parma. In 1988, she specialized in Pediatrics with top marks at the University of Milan, where she also completed a second specialization in Neonatology and Neonatal Pathology in 1992, again with top marks.
Since 1989, Dr. Guarneri has worked as a Level I Medical Manager in the Pediatrics Department at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, where she leads a Simple Functional Unit. She is also responsible for the Pediatric Allergy Clinic at the same hospital.
Dr. Guarneri has published scientific papers in national and international journals and has participated as a speaker at numerous national and international scientific conferences.
She is a member of the Italian Society of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology (SIAIP).
